The Deep Part of the Lake
By Robert Lee Hall
It was a hot and humid day in Central Virginia. A Dad, Mom, five-year-old boy, and two-year-old girl are on a weekend trip to the local lake. On arriving, the children eagerly dash to get closer to the water. A strong voice halts them from going further; far enough said the Dad. Neither the Dad nor his small Son knew that today would forever change their lives.
The name of the lake is Bear Creek Lake State Park but for today, it will be Father and Son Lake. The family finds an isolated spot on the sand. Its noon and getting hotter, and the summer humidity of Virginia have Dad wanting to go for a quick swim before they go into the water as a family. Dad smiles at the Mother and says I am going to take a quick swim; I will be right back.
As the Mom and two young children prepare their spot on the lake beach, the little boy decides to follow his Dad. The Mother instantly notices the young boy following the Dad and calls him to come back. Dad begins eagerly walking toward the water. He instinctively gives a look back as always to check on his family, he sees and hears the mother telling the young boy to come back.
Dad pauses to see how his son will handle the rejection of his Mom not allowing him to follow his Dad. The little boy begins to plead his case for following his Dad. After watching his little boy try to convince the Mom to let him follow along, the Dad goes to console his little boy. He explains to his Son that he will be right back, and ask his Son to wait until he gets back and they will all go into the water together.
The small child is adamant; he wants to go with his dad into the water. The Dad explains that he is going to swim out to the wooden float, and it is the deep water. Dad points to the float and gently explains that it is the deep water, and his little boy’s feet cannot touch the bottom of the lake. The child tells his dad that he is ready for the deep water. Dad softly says okay, smiles at his wife and takes his little boy’s hand.
They begin walking into the water. After about ten yards, the water starts to reach the little boy’s chest, and he becomes nervous. Dad can feel his son’s grip tighten on his hand. The child stops abruptly after initially wanting to go to the deeper water. The dad asks what is wrong. The child replies; I am scared daddy; I am afraid I will drown.
The Dad smiles with an understanding love and answers; I will not let you drown; I promise. Dad reminds his Son, that he said he was ready for the deep water. The child is still very reluctant and stops again just as they had almost reached the deep end where the child’s little feet could not touch. Again, the Dad looks down knowing that his little boy is not only scared but has now become terrified.
Dad asks his little boy if he wants to go back, the child gives a quick nod yes, followed by a firm nod of no. The Dad considers taking the child back. He gently tells his son, it is going to be okay and decides the time is now to teach this lesson. The lesson learned on this hot summer day will last a lifetime, later on, this little boy will become a man, and this moment will prepare him for the greatest moment of his life.
The Dad bends down and looks into the eyes of the little boy that he loves more than his own life and gently says, ”I will not let you drown.” Dad continues, we are only a couple steps away from the drop-off, and you will not be able to touch the ground. I am going to kneel down and be the same height as you, and we are going to take the steps together. The child nods yes with a gleam in his eyes.
Dad says when we reach the drop off point you grab hold of me, and I will grab hold of you. Dad whispers into the ear of his beloved child and says, I promise; I will not let you drown. Daddy loves you. They take one-step then another then they hit the drop off point! Fear and panic of this new experience engulf the child.
Just as the little one starts to lose his breath, two big hands grab the little one’s waist and raise him safely above the water. What had seemed terrifying and unknown now turns to tears of laughter. Dad has me, and he told me that he would not let me drown. The child feels the strong arms of his dad wrapped tightly around him, and he feels secure and loved.
The Dad is glorified and trusted because his Son chose to trust and believe in his love for him. It was hard for the child to go thru the experience, but the Dad knew what the outcome would be. The little boy learned a lesson of trust and faith, and later on in his life, he will apply this experience to knowing and loving His real Father and Creator.
Coming to your Father YHWH is putting trust in that which at first seems unknown, scary, and hard to us. Fully submitting to YHWH Father can be hard and at times, even painful. We are such a stubborn creation because we seek the lust of our flesh instead of the love of our Father. I used the story of the child who went into the deep water with his dad at the lake because it is how we come to our Father.
The child desired to go into the deep water where his feet could not touch. You must want to come to your Father and in more ways that we can comprehend; YHWH Father is responsible for that. Secondly, once you get into the deep water, and your feet cannot touch the ground anymore, you must completely trust your Almighty Father with every part of your life. Your entire life must revolve around your Father period.
The one true Creator of Everything is always in complete control. Never doubt nor let anyone ever convince you differently. It is ridiculous and foolish to believe that YHWH Father could be so powerful but not always in total control. If YHWH chooses, you will live to be to a 100, and if he chooses, you will stop breathing in the next second.
He can be gentle and loving beyond my ability to articulate, and he can turn your life inside out and upside down. Knowing and loving your Almighty Father thru his Son Jesus the Christ (Yahshua) should be what we desire above everything else. Having a relationship with your Heavenly Father thru his Son Christ Jesus is the pinnacle of this life.
YHWH will never fail you nor will he let you drown. He is a merciful and loving Father. Do not listen to the world when they speak badly of him for they know him not. Hear me; do not be afraid to venture into the deep water with your Almighty Father. I have been there myself, and I fully understand the fear and doubt that you may have at first. One foot at a time and telling your Father, my life is in your hands.
Trust your Almighty Father and come to him with sincerity. Let your feet, not the touch the bottom of the lake. Friends I am not telling you that if you put all your trust in YHWH Father thru Jesus the Christ, that life will be perfect. You are going to have problems; I am telling you that your Father will not let you drown. We are not here for our comforts; we are here for our character.
YAHWAH sent his Son to suffer for us; are we better than YAHWAHSHUA (Jesus)? Those of us who are the children of the Almighty Father will endure suffering, some of us suffer more than others do, but it will happen. He will put his arms around you, and there is no greater power on this earth times infinity. Come to your Father as a little child because that is what you are to YHWH.
He has no respect for how strong, independent, and prideful you are. You are a weak, feeble child. Among people or in your mind, you may believe you are strong and in no need of your Almighty Father. The truth is you are on borrowed time and either too hardhearted or ignorant to understand it. The day will soon come when you will either get old, sick and or you will face the worst adversity you have ever encountered in your life. You will take your last breath, possibly in peace or in agony.
You will awake from your sleep, and Yahwahshua (Jesus) will judge you. I am not a fear monger nor is this site designed to scare people into believing in the Almighty Father thru his only begotten Son. My purpose of this site is to glorify my Father first, and then I want to help as many people as YHWH Father sees fit to learn the truth.
Your Father loves you; he is kind, and merciful beyond our understanding. He does not ask much of us. When you stop and take the time to understand what he asks of us, how can we ever call it burdensome. We are to obey his commandments, and they are not a burden in the slightest. We are to love him above all people and all things thru his Christ, Yahwahshua (Jesus).
I repeated these words in my opening statement, and I will reiterate my point because it is vital to your understanding who can save you and what your greatest purpose in this life is. Your first and greatest commandment is to love and honor “Your” Father with everything that you have inside you. Every day of your life, you should honor him by whatever means he has given you. We Love our Father thru Loving his Son, who gave his life for us.
We Love our Father thru prayer and our behavior. We obey his Holy teachings. Read his Holy Word (your Bible), pray to your Father in Jesus name, and ask forgiveness for your wrong doings. Make him the most important part of your life thru his Son. Nothing or no one else can save you. Yahshua said in the Gospel of John in chapter 14 and verse 6 the following comment.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I urge you to read it again; I have quoted this verse many times in my writings. I will continue to do so because it is that important. The words that Yahshua spoke when he walked this earth were the words of his Father YHWH. After reading that verse, you have no excuse. Jesus spoke plainly and did not leave room for debate as to what his words meant.
The King of Kings did not say that you could come to the Father by any other means but himself. So let me help those who cannot see nor hear. When you take your last breath and die, Yahwahshua will wake you and Yahwahshua will judge you period.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
John 5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father’s, and of the holy angels.
Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
If you deny Jesus the Christ as the only way, you will pay, and this will be a certainty in your existence. Hear me well people, you will NOT make it to YAHWAH Father thru the Pope, Dalai Lama, Obama, Muhammad, Buddha, Indian Gurus, Oprah Winfrey, Joel Osteen, Athletes, Actors, Rabbis, Pastors, Martin Luther King, New Age teachers, Ufos, Aliens, or any being from any race or religion.
Be it a devil or mere man or woman. Those as mentioned above are just some of the devils that are pure evil. Their sole existence in this world is to lead you away from the truth that is Jesus the Christ being the ONLY way to YHWH Father. You can label me what you wish; you can hate me, call me names, and say I am out of touch with reality. You can say; I am a zealot and fanatic, yet I have only one question for you.
Do you honestly believe that what you think or feel about me or what I have just told you is going to change the truth? Are you so naïve and blind as to believe that the one true Creator is going to change his Holy Word to accommodate you because you do not like it? You have learned the truth at this website if you cannot handle this truth; it is because you have not gone into the deep water with YAHWAH Father.
In closing, I leave you with a few verses to read. I will list a few verses for each subject; you can find more by studying your Bible. I pray you will take the time to read the words of the almighty Father. These are not my words, for as I have said in other articles; my words are meaningless compared to the words of the Almighty Father.
Please read each one with patience and give thought to what they mean. I bid you a warm farewell and thank you for reading my articles. May YHWH bless you in the name of his only begotten Son, YAHSHUA (Jesus the Christ).
Verses to read
Loving and fearing our Father above all things.
Jesus told us explicitly to Love our Father, and this was the greatest commandment and most important part of our lives that Jesus the Christ taught. The sole purpose of our existence is to love our Father. Not only should you love your Father but also you should fear him.
Many modern people have issues with fearing the Almighty YAHWAH. Their foolish pride and propaganda of society have taught them not to fear The true Creator. You read the verses and then you will possibly view fearing YHWH differently. Let us read the words of the only begotten Son Jesus the Christ and then the words of Solomon from the book of Ecclesiastes.
Love your Father first.
Matthew Chapter 22:36-38
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
Ecclesiastes Chapter 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Our life is but a vapor.
The life we live is but a fleeting vapor. The hope that we have in Christ Jesus is eternal life. Our physical life on this earth is a short existence.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
James 4:14 “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
Our being little children in the eyes of YAHWAH.
Matthew Chapter 19
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Luke Chapter 18
15 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when [his] disciples saw [it], they rebuked them.
16 But Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Mark Chapter 10
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and [his] disciples rebuked those that brought [them].
14 But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put [his] hands upon them, and blessed them.
You must Completely trust YAHWAH Father.

2 And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give * him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give * him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
